So what are the things that need to be done that they don’t want to do? They don’t want to take their cars to be serviced, washed and gassed. They don’t want to go buy ink for the printer (something you can do remotely, but you check it while you’re there so it doesn’t run out while you’re gone).
Go through their mail. Get rid of any junk mail, fliers, catalogs, etc. Organize their office. File what needs to be put away and keep track of the pending items so you can follow up with them once you are home. They don’t want to deal with the household help.
Keep an eye out and make notes, or speak to the vendors if they are there, of things that need to be worked on. They don’t want to call the plumber and deal with paying them. If you are traveling to meet your client, try to line up all of the vendors while you are there so they don’t have to handle it. Coordinate payment and follow up.
